Make Dozens of Holiday Cards Quick!

CAS HOLIDAY CARD WITH MI RAN AND A VIDEO

So, every year I'm asked whether or not I can make some cute little Christmas cards for my mom to mail out to relatives!!  Every year, I come up with a card that she is happy with that isn't the type of card that is either going to financially break the bank, or take the entire year to make!!! lol

This year I was blessed with designing for the generous and wonderfully easy to work with Jody Stacy!  The owner of Treasured Times Rubber Stamps store who has recently begun working with one of my favorite stamp artists Mi Ran Jung!!  There are some exclusive designs that Jody has made available in rubber from Mi Ran and I've colored up my favorite so far and designed a CAS Holiday card for mum with it!

I've created a video showing how to design this quick card with loads of tips I've learned along my crafty journey that I hope inspires you to get out some of those tools you forget you have, use up some of that paper that is too large to toss but too small to create an entire project with, and to save money by altering some of your embellishments with the mediums you already have!   Have fun and enjoy your Holiday card making!

My You Tube channel address is below in case the video doesn't upload!!  Stop by any time to check out some terrific tips and tricks on cutting dies, recycling some of your cut papers on some super quick Holiday makes!!

Hello everybody!

This morning, I come to share my first creation "Inspiration" for "Treaserd Times Rubberstamps"!

For this card, I used some paper coming from the store " Action ", from some paper " turquoise blue Bazzil Cardstock " and a fall of paper " Inkido ", "Hearts" ( white polka-dot red). The edges of the printed paper are worn out with "Old Distresser".

On the top of the card, I added a die-cut " Snowflakes " realized with a dies " Joy! Craft ".

I used a rubberstamp "Treasered Times Rubberstamps", " Art by Miran ".

I colorized it in the following way:

- Ink " Distress Vintage Photo " and "Distress Tattered Rose" for the skin.
- Ink "Distress Antique Linen" and "Distress Brushed Corduroy" for hair.
- Ink "Distress Festive Berries".
- Ink "Distress Salty Ocena".
- Ink "Distress Shaded Lilac".
- Ink "Distress Pumice Stone".
- Ink "Distress Walnut Stain".
- Ink "Distress Tea Dye".

- Glitter Stickels Diamond.

Under the image, I stuck of the white lace and some ribbon " red Organza ". I realized a knot with a piece of the same ribbon which I decorated with a white "Petaloo's flower".

For the rest of the decoration, I added the following flowers:

- White Rose (30 mm) ( WOC).
- Daisies red ( WOC).
- White Rose (20 mm) ( WOC).
- White Rose (15 mm) ( WOC).

DT Deni - Lilly Mae Birdkeeper Inspirational Post

Hi Everyone DT Deni here :-)

I have used the lovely Lilly Mae Birdkeeper from Jody Stacy for my Inspirational Post for today. She is available in Red Rubber and also as a clear stamp from the Treasured Times Store.

It is such a beautiful stamp and I was actually a little over whelmed with making this card as I wasn't sure how best to go about it, I ended up colouring the stamp before I even had an idea of how my card was going to look. I decided to go with the soft tones on this one as that's the feeling I got from the image.

We have an Anything Goes Challenge over on our Challenge Blog, we would love for you to come and join in :-)

The image was coloured using Copic Markers purchased from Craft a Lot and Craft Online, both stores are available in Australia.

FALL FUN WITH HALLOWEEN IMAGE:)

Hi everyone!  Audrey from the Inspiration Team here with you today to share my newest creation using one of the amazing stamps available at Treasured Times Rubber Stamps.   Today I decided to go in a different direction while using one of the many awesome Halloween stamps from Treasured Times Rubber Stamps.  I have chosen Blowing Kisses Witch by artist Erica Nicomedi.  The "twist" I decided to go with today is coloring a Halloween related image in non-Halloween colors, so instead I chose fall colors to showcase this delightful image.

I adore this image and it was so much fun to color.  Image is colored with Copics after being stamped on Cryogen White paper using Memento black ink to stamp image.

I used the following colors to highlight this beautiful image.  I sure hope you like how the coloring turned out!

Hair E31, E35, E57, E79

Skin E04, E11, E21, E00, E000, R21

Dress and part of socks YR27, YR24, YR21

Apple R59, R46, R27, YG97, YG95, YG93

Hat, cape, trim on dress and part of socks E59, E19, E08

I chose very fall themed papers from DCWV DP and CS from Bazzill.  Image cut with Lifestyle Crafts die, sentimet from Taylored Expressions is cut with Sizzix die.  Sticker from Jolee's Boutique.

I sure do hope you like it!!
Hugs!

DT Deni - Such a Delight

Hi Everyone,

DT Deni here :-)

Today I have an inspirational card for you. I have used a gorgeous image from Christy Hartman called Whimsical Flower.

This is such a beautiful image, I could see my colouring of it before I even started. I was in my head thinking rainbow design, but went with a more suttle colouring theme instead to match some papers I found in my stash, not sure of the name as they were loose on my shelf. The Cardstock is from Kaisercraft.

I have also inked around the edge of the image using Memento Dew Drop - Angel Pink using a Sponge Dauber.

I coloured the image up using Copic Markers purchased from Craft-a-Lot and Craft Online.

I have cut the scallop border edge from My Favorite Things Blueprints 14, I have cut two in the pink and one in the pattern paper and layered them to frame the border die a bit better.

I used Lawn Fawn Get Well Soon stamps for the sentiment, I stamped it using Versafine Onyx Black on X-Press it Blending Cardstock.

I have added some Polly Twine from Whimsy Farm Twine, this is such a lovely quality of twine and I have a few colours now :-).

I added 3 brads on the top left corner to finish my card off.. these are from my stash unsure of the brand.

Copic Markers Used

Flower Y11, Y13, Y15
            V01, V04, V06, V09
